A thought provoking article. I bet a significant proportion of those saying they “would be more likely to choose an accommodation if it has implemented sustainability practices.” are the same ones who leave their a/c on when they are out by the pool and expect clean bedding and towels everyday
I GUESS what Google is doing is a step in the right direction. But much more important is for folks like you to come along and point out all of the holes in their certification -- you can chop down a swath of rainforest, install sixty pools, and then declare yourself green? -- so that just maybe little by little things get better.
