you surely bring back memories from similar travels up north Laos in the 90ties. wohow! i remember the Nam Tha. have to look up my diaries to see exactly which town we ended hanging around for 4-5 days and rode around the countryside on bicicles. with a couple of Canadians (of which i now realise we lost touch) there was only one -brandnew- guesthouse with 2 or 3 rooms...
in one village the chief wanted to give us his twin daughters for us 2 couples to adopt straight away. oh man, so nice to read your stories every day ah ah!!!
