Question for you: Granted, it's been twenty years now since my last visit to Sa Pa, but is it really that over-touristed nowadays? Say it ain't so! A 2019 Vietnam trip had me convinced there could be no more over-touristed destination in Vietnam than Hoi An. Can you compare?
Yeah, nice to get in the road again. I was last in Sa Pa a few years ago and it was pretty bad, dare I say awful. Hoi An I was at more recently--it features in the part two of the series which comes out on the weekend coming, so I won’t spoil the surprise, but yeah, it is on the highway to nowhere good.
