Stuart, The image of the monkey reminded me of one of my most vivid "make yourself at home" guesthouse experiences. I'd stayed in a small guest house, and rose in the morning to go to the communal breakfast area, nothing more than a small living room, indoors. There were a few people about and as I was eating a very lean German woman came in with two small monkeys. Her manner was casual and seemed familiar to the place, as if she'd been there awhile. She sat down to eat and the monkeys bounded around, as they do, causing havoc. I did nothing more than give her a glance when, all of a sudden she erupted, and started screaming at me about her babies.
