Nan rocks. Not only is the countryside beautiful, but the people are super friendly and the food is great. I’ll be touching on all three of these in today’s final post on the province.
from India where a resemblance to Sonia was once the reason for group photo requests, all over S.E Asia people love to have our faces in their holiday pics. often wondered what they do with them afterwards 😉
That walking Buddha at Wat Phra That Khao Noi is gorgeous!
Was that photo of you with the group at Sao Din random? I mean, did you just meet them out on the trail? That happens to me often in Thailand, but even more so in Indonesia. My foreign face is part of countless holiday photos across all of Southeast Asia. Cheers.
Hi Mark, Yes the pic was totally random. They were just wandering around and asked if they could take their photo with me. Afterwards, I asked the same. Happens loads more in Indonesia, but in rural Thailand I still get it quite a bit. Cheers
I agree anyone wanting to see a bit of real Thailand Nan province is a wonderful place to visit
