Thanks Laurel, Yeah, there is just something about the place. I really struggle to put my finger on exactly what it is. It’s the only city I’ve ever cried on the plane when leaving!
Phnom Penh has allure and attitude, sometimes can do, sometimes fuck you, generally with warmth and good humour, occasionally spine tingly and very sobering. Above all Phnom Penh is a beautiful city to explore to reveal ones own values and morality and laugh in the face of adversity.
