Twice I have visited the Green Gecko after my primary class decided to fundraise for the Gecko kids after showing them the school, as part of a global awareness program. Why this school? As simple as Tania was from the same area of Northern NSW and I liked their vision. It wasn’t an orphanage but supported street kids and their families. The photo that both groups related to most? Soccer. I can only reiterate what an inspiring, ethical and brilliantly organised school. I was so impressed by Tania and Rems programs and their incredible results in education and community support. They had their first student attend University when I was first there. It’s definitely a worthwhile and ethical initiative to support with money going to the students and their families. The children adore this couple and appreciate and value the opportunities they have been given. I wish them continued success.
